CambridgeBands.com provides an online drop in centre for bands and their fans from Cambridge.
Their aim is to provide the already thriving music scene of Cambridge with an online place where bands can chat, meet and organise themselves.
The site features local news and features as well as individual profiles where people can add gig details and link to photos and music. The site also features an online forum, powered by phpBB2.
There is a calendar for people to search and add gig details, as well as a news feed reader to automatically update listings for venues who provide this service.
There is also an extensive administration section for the administrator to add articles for the various areas of the site.
